The big four for a downtown resident: the 100-foot Christmas tree lighting (December 1, 2026, Atlantic Avenue closed Swinton to NE 5th for the street fair); the Fourth of July (East Atlantic and A1A closed noon to 11 p.m., fireworks at 9); the St. Patrick’s Day parade (the Avenue closed from 8 a.m. on parade day, reopening after); and Art & Jazz editions (West Atlantic closed 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. for the February 24, 2027 edition).

• The City of Delray Beach celebrates 33 years of the 100 Ft. Christmas Tree with a Lighting Celebration and Yuletide Street Fair on December 1, 2026, 6-9 p.m., at Old School Square, with 60+ vendors down Atlantic Avenue, Old School Square and Pineapple Grove, food trucks on Swinton Avenue, a silent disco, and Santa lighting the tree (the DDA listing says the tree is lit at 7 p.m.). • The City of Delray Beach Parks and Recreation hosts the Delray Beach 4th of July Celebration on East Atlantic Avenue and A1A, a family-friendly event of over 50 years that draws over 20,000 attendees, featuring a 60-foot flag raising, live music, food trucks and family activities. • The 2026 St. Patrick's Day Parade stepped off at noon on Saturday, March 14, 2026 (12:00 PM – 2:00 PM), marching west along Atlantic Avenue from the Intracoastal Waterway to NW 5th Avenue. • For the 2026 parade, the City closed Atlantic Avenue from the beach to SW/NW 8th Avenue starting at 8:00 a.m., while A1A remained open; Atlantic Avenue reopened no later than 3:30 p.m. Motorists were advised to use Swinton Avenue as an alternate route. The Delray Affair: three blocks, three days, one shuttle

April 9-11, 2027, the Chamber of Commerce’s Delray Affair – its 65th – takes the Avenue. The resident move is the Chamber’s: free off-site parking at the Palm Beach County Administrative Complex at 345 S. Congress Avenue with a shuttle. Daily hours for 2027 are not published; neither is a street-closure map yet – the organizer’s event-and-parking page is the live source.

• The Delray Affair returns April 9-11, 2027, in downtown Delray Beach – its 65th year. The organizer's site describes it as one of the largest arts and crafts festivals in the Southeast United States, stretching 7 city blocks. • For the Delray Affair, the Chamber offers free off-site parking with a shuttle from the Palm Beach County Administrative Complex at 345 S. Congress Avenue, with shuttle hours of 10am-6pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The smaller constants

First Friday Art Walk runs monthly, 6 to 9 p.m., through about fifteen downtown galleries – an evening of foot traffic, not closures. The GreenMarket holds Saturdays at Old School Square through May 22, 2027. Restaurant Month and the Shop Small window are commerce promotions, not street events. Savor the Avenue – the ‘Nation’s Longest Dining Table’ – holds to its standing rule of the fourth Monday in March on the Avenue; the 2027 date is not yet posted.

• The First Friday Art Walk is a DDA monthly signature event held on the first Friday of each month, 6-9 p.m. – a self-guided stroll through roughly 15 downtown galleries and cultural centers (Cornell Art Museum at Old School Square, Arts Garage, Arts Warehouse, and more) with artist meet-and-greets, workshops and live entertainment. • The Delray Beach GreenMarket returns to the Old School Square campus (51 N. Swinton Avenue) on Saturday, October 24, 2026, for its 31st winter season, running every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. through May 22, 2027. • Downtown Delray Restaurant Month, a DDA promotion, ran September 1-30, 2026, with roughly 50 downtown establishments offering prix fixe menus and deals, extended through October at some restaurants (deals redeemable in person through October).
